The FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre manages the Approval Program for high-quality equipment and software products used in FIBA competitions and the sport of basketball.
The Approval Program has established itself as one of the most recognized product quality programs in the sport industry.
All FIBA Approved products must meet strict technical requirements and undergo stringent testing protocols that are independently conducted by FIBA Accredited Test Institutes.
All partner companies are held responsible for continuously upholding the FIBA quality standards for safety, performance, and good governance.
Step 1: Contact the FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre here and provide a company/brand presentation and description of the products seeking approval.
Step 2: Download the Approval Regulations and complete the Questionnaire. Once completed, submit the questionnaire and the supporting documents to the Equipment & Venue Centre for review.

Step 3: Submit a handling fee to initiate the approval process. The Handbook of Test Methods and Technical Requirements, outlining the test procedures and criteria, will be provided once the handling fee is received. Step 5: Establish a partnership with the FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre by signing the Approval Agreement.
