MANAMA (Bahrain) - The FIBA Hall of Fame has unveiled a fresh new identity just ahead of the historical 2025 Induction Ceremony, which will take place on 17 May in Bahrain.
Established in 2007, the FIBA Hall of Fame has been a cornerstone in honoring the teams and individuals who have left an indelible mark on the global game, celebrating the achievements and the influence of those who shaped the history of the sport.
On 17 May, the FIBA Hall of Fame Ceremony will take place at the Bahrain National Theater at 6:30 pm (GMT+3), offering a stunning and symbolic setting for this new chapter. The elegant architecture and cultural significance of the venue align perfectly with the prestige of the event.
The event will be hosted in the Gulf region for the first time, alongside FIBA Mid-Term Congress, marking a historic week for international basketball.
To celebrate this milestone, the FIBA Hall of Fame has undertaken a rebranding of its visual identity, symbolizing its ongoing evolution and reaffirming its dedication to paying tribute to those who made the game.
The Building Blocks of History
The new identity draws its inspiration from a fundamental symbol of the game - the court, where the sport's greatest stories have unfolded, and legends were born.
The core of the new design is the composition of hardwood pieces reflecting the building blocks of basketball's history and the unity among the basketball community.
In order to convey the global nature of the sport, the concept will incorporate cultural elements representing the host countries of the Ceremony for years to come.
