ULAANBAATAR (Mongolia) – The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) held its FIBA Agents Test Session for Asia on August 12, 2026 at M Bank Arena in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, with 34 candidates taking part in the examination. The session was hosted by the Mongolian Basketball Association.
The test is part of FIBA’s certification process for agents seeking to represent basketball players internationally. Candidates are assessed on their knowledge of FIBA’s regulations, as well as the ethical standards and professional responsibilities involved in player representation.
Of the 34 candidates who took the test, 29 successfully passed, resulting in a strong pass rate of 85.2 percent. Successful candidates can now proceed with their application for a FIBA Agent License, which is mandatory for those seeking to represent basketball players internationally under FIBA's regulatory framework.
The Agents Test Session also serves as an important step in ensuring that licensed agents have the knowledge required to navigate the international basketball landscape and provide players with professional and responsible representation.
By conducting regular test sessions across its regions, FIBA continues to support the development of a well-qualified agent community and promote high standards of professionalism, integrity and player welfare in international basketball.
