The campaign is a follow-up to the hugely impactful She Calls Game 2022 initiative, which brought a new female voice to the world feed commentary in the shape of Australian, Julia Montesano. That kick-started even more women being part of media teams at various FIBA events.

"It was exciting to win the first-ever She Calls Game competition and a tremendous opportunity to be able to cover such a high-profile event like the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022," reflected Montesano.

"I have been able to use this experience as a launchpad to do even more in the sport - including commentating on many more FIBA basketball games."

Meanwhile, Yaroslava Nemesh from Ukraine was one of the winners of the inaugural She Calls Game project, which focused on photography. She got to show her talents at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 in Sydney, Australia. She has since worked at many more FIBA events.

"A trip to Sydney sounded like a miracle to me, and I still can't believe it," stated Nemesh. "I always wanted to be part of the FIBA team, to work with the best. But I did not think that I would be lucky to go to the Women's World Cup. It was such an honour. This was a great start for me, and it inspired and gave me the strength to go further towards my dream!"

Don't miss out on your chance to follow in the footsteps of Julia and Yaroslava. Beat the buzzer by answering the call and getting your application submitted.
