Dedicated to positioning FIBA as a leader in empowering women in sports media, She Calls Game will showcase women's voices on the global stage as they tell the story of the game.
A part of FIBA's Women in Basketball strategic priority, we want to encourage more diverse and creative storytelling worldwide and to generate authentic user-driven content. Whether holding the mic or a camera, writing, or creating content, we want to strengthen and diversify women’s basketball media, bringing more resources and visibility to the game.
After our hugely successful inaugural She Calls Game campaign in 2022, launched by FIBA Media, we are expanding to offer even more opportunities. In addition to the roles of commentator and photographer, there will be content creator and writer roles too. If you’re active in your local basketball community and eager to take your first steps into an exciting media role courtside, this program is designed for you.
Successful applicants will receive support, guidance, and training from a range of FIBA professionals and will have the opportunity to gain experience at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournaments, and for the winners, participate in the flagship Women’s World Cup in Berlin, Germany in 2026.
