PIRAEUS (Greece) - The matchups for the Quarter-Finals have now been confirmed following the conclusion of the Group Phase, on Sunday.
The eight remaining teams will battle it out to be crowned champions of the 40th edition, at the iconic Peace and Friendship Stadium in Piraeus, Greece.
Spain and Germany took the last tickets on the final day’s action in Hamburg in Group D with victories over Sweden and Great Britain, respectively.
They joined reigning champions Belgium and Czechia from Group C, while France and Türkiye had already advanced from Group A, with Italy and Lithuania also coming out as the top two teams in Group B.
France will meet Lithuania in Tuesday’s opening game, before Italy take on Türkiye, while Spain face Czechia and Belgium go up against Germany in Wednesday’s matchups.
The confirmed dates, and tip-off times, for the Quarter-Finals are as follows:
Tuesday, June 24 France vs Lithuania - 16:30 CET Italy vs Türkiye - 19:30 CET
Wednesday, June 25 Spain vs Czechia - 16:30 CET Belgium vs Germany - 19:30 CET
The winners of the Quarter-Finals will also confirm their spots at the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournaments as part of the five best-placed teams.
If Czechia or Germany finish in the qualifying positions, the next-best team(s) would qualify instead.
Both Semi-Finals, as well as the 5-8 Classification Games, will take place on Friday, June 27, before the tournament concludes on Sunday.
