BEIRUT (Lebanon)- Four women were among the 15 participants in the WABC Level 1 Clinic conducted by the FIBA Regional Office-Asia as a part of its efforts to boost development of the sport at the grassroots level in Bengaluru, India recently.
The clinic held under the aegis of Basketball Federation of India from July 16-21, 2026 was held under the supervision of WABC instructor Milan Kotarac.
“The WABC Level 1 course was very informative and well organized,” said Balamurugan K.
“The instructors explained all the concepts clearly, including individual skills, team concepts, teaching methods, and practice planning. The practical sessions were especially useful and helped me understand how to apply the techniques on the court,” he said.
“Overall, this course has increased my confidence and knowledge as a basketball coach,”
“The FIBA WABC Level 1 course was a truly enriching and enjoyable experience,” said Jonali Dutta.
“The sessions were well-planned, interactive, and easy to understand. The instructor explained every concept clearly, encouraged active participation, and created a positive learning environment,” she said.
“I learned many new coaching techniques that I will confidently apply in my future coaching. Overall, this course was inspiring, valuable, and memorable.”
