BEIRUT (Lebanon)- Seven women were among the 13 participants who attended the WABC Level 1 clinic conducted by the FIBA Regional Office-Asia in Bhutan recently.
The clinic held at the picturesque city of Thimphu was hosted by the Bhutan Basketball Federation from Oct 5-9, 2025.
“The WABC Level 1 Coaching Clinic an enriching experience that has deepened my knowledge and understanding of basketball coaching, including technical skills, defensive strategies, player development, and overall team management,” said Thinley Jamtsho.
“Being part of this program has not only improved my coaching abilities but has also inspired me to contribute more meaningfully to the development of basketball at the grassroots level in Bhutan.”
“The course was both encouraging and motivating, and we truly appreciate the support from FIBA Asia for the course,” said Kinley Pem.
“We are fortunate to have been part of this valuable program and hope to receive similar opportunities in the future.”
“The clinic was very interesting and meaningful,” said Sonam Choden.
“After so many years, I was able to gain new knowledge, and it truly felt like a refreshing course for me.”
