    The last step to reach next year's showpiece Women's World Cup has been laid out.

    MIES (Switzerland) - An exciting 'Road to Berlin' lies in wait for those nations with their sights set on making the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 after the successful conclusion of the Qualifying Tournaments Draw on October 7 at the Patrick Baumann House of Basketball in Mies, Switzerland.

    The draw confirmed the last leg of the journey for the teams still chasing a precious place at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 in Berlin, Germany where 16 nations will ultimately compete for the coveted silverware.

    Taking place between March 11-17, the Qualifying Tournaments will be held in four host cities, namely - Wuhan, China; Lyon-Villeurbanne, France; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Istanbul, Türkiye.

    The draw was conducted by German national team standout Marie Guelich and former French national team captain, Endy Miyem.

    FIBA Secretary General, Andreas Zagklis was also present for the draw ceremony, along with representatives from the participating National Federations.

    The results of the draw were as follows:

    Wuhan, China

    Mali, South Sudan, Brazil, Belgium, Czechia and China.

    Lyon-Villeurbanne, France

    Colombia, Philippines, Germany, Korea, France and Nigeria.

    San Juan, Puerto Rico

    New Zealand, Puerto Rico, USA, Senegal, Italy and Spain.

    Istanbul, Türkiye

    Hungary, Türkiye, Argentina, Australia, Canada and Japan.
