BEIRUT (Lebanon)- Three women were among the 16 participants attending the WABC Level 2 course conducted by the FIBA Regional Office-Asia recently in Mongolia. The six-day course held under the aegis of the Mongolian Basketball Association was conducted by WABC instructor Mounir Ben Slimane.

“The Level 2 clinic was very priceless for me,” said Enkhtugs Enkhtsetseg.

“There is a need for more such clinics to update ourselves,” he said.

“Attending this FIBA Coaching Clinic Level 2 was very useful. It has helped me improve my coaching methods, provided practical information and approaches, and deepened my understanding of basketball,” said Tsolmon Zorigt, one of the women attending the course.

“The sessions were well-structured and informative, covering both the theoretical and practical aspects of coaching,” said Tsatsral Tsogtsaikhan, another woman coach.

One of the key takeaways was understanding what proactive coaching truly means — being intentional, forward-thinking, and always prepared. I also realized that coaching should be simple and clear, making it easier for players to understand and apply,” added Tsogtsaikhan.

“The course helped give direction towards creating my own coaching philosophy,” said Bayarmagnai Byambaa.

“Interacting with other coaches and gaining insights into their experiences, methods, and how they approach training was also very useful,” he said.
