WABC Level 1 clinic completed in Vietnam

    15 aspirants, including 2 women, participate in coaching course in Hanoi

    BEIRUT (Lebanon)- The FIBA Regional Office-Asia recently conducted a WABC Level 1 coaching clinic in Hanoi, Vietnam.

    The clinic held from June 9-14 under the auspices of Vietnam Basketball Federation saw 15 aspirants, including two women attending.

    “A Step Closer to a Brighter Future for Basketball in Viet Nam!” said Tran Vi Nghiep one of the attendees.

    “I was truly honoured to participate in the FIBA Coaching Level 1 WABC course. This is an extremely valuable foundational program for anyone serious about pursuing a career in basketball coaching,” he said.”

    “I hope the Vietnam Basketball Federation will continue to collaborate with FIBA Asia to organize more courses like this, so that valuable knowledge can reach more Vietnamese coaches — ultimately contributing to the growth and development of basketball in Vietnam.”

    “I was fortunate to participate in the recent FIBA WABC Level 1 coaching course held in Hanoi,” said Do Xuan Nam.

    “The course truly provided me with a wealth of knowledge and deeper understanding of basketball,” he added.

    “The WABC coaching clinic was very helpful and practical for my role as youth development coach. It has been such a long time since we have FIBA training for coaches that hosted in Vietnam. I did try my best to overcome the language barrier to focus and embrace the knowledge from the clinic,” said Nguyen Thi Ngoc Ha.
