MUNICH (Germany) - FIBA Europe has announced that three National Federations have applied to host the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2029.
The nations who have put forward a formal candidacy are Finland, Luxembourg and Switzerland.
All three hosting bids will be evaluated by FIBA Europe in the coming months.
Following the assessment, the FIBA Europe Board is set to decide on the hosts of Europe’s flagship event in its spring meeting.
The meeting is scheduled to take place in Rome, Italy in March 2027.
