MIAMI (United States) – The FIBA Americas Regional Office has announced the FIBA U17 South American Championship 2025 will take place at the Centro de Entrenamiento Olímpico COP in Asunción, Paraguay from December 10 to 14. The tournament will feature the national teams of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay and Venezuela, along with hosts Paraguay. The top three teams will qualify for the FIBA U18 AmeriCup 2026. The FIBA U17 South American Championship 2025 draw will be held on November 25 at 2:00 p.m. Miami time (EST). In the most recent edition of the event (2023), held in Colombia, Argentina took the gold medal, followed by Venezuela with silver and Brazil with bronze. FIBA
