FIBA Europe President Jorge Garbajosa and FIBA Executive Director Europe Kamil Novak received the Swiss delegation in Munich.

MUNICH (Germany) - The Swiss Basketball Federation's President, Andrea Siviero, and Secretary General, Erik Lehmann, held a productive meeting with the FIBA Europe leadership on Thursday.

In what was Mr. Siviero's first visit to the Munich office since his election as President, nearly a year earlier, Mr. Garbajosa and Mr. Novak underlined the strong ties between FIBA Europe and Swiss Basketball, and both sides explored avenues to strengthen their collaboration.

The main topic on the agenda was a presentation of Swiss Basketball's strategy and objectives in the near future, with a focus on the growth and development of the sport in the country.

The leaders also discussed Swiss Basketball's plans to establish a new basketball development center for young players.

The meeting wrapped up a highly fruitful round of discussions to start to the new year in Munich, as earlier this week the FIBA Europe President and the FIBA Executive Director Europe had hosted delegations of the Serbian and British basketball federations.
