MIES (Switzerland) - The FIBA Foundation is excited to announce the opening of its annual "Propose a Project" application window, beginning January 1 and running through February 28, 2025.
This initiative invites applications via the Propose a Project platform, reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to using basketball as a tool to empower, educate, and inspire youth worldwide through its Basketball For Good programs.
Following a record-breaking year in 2024 with 58 projects supported, the FIBA Foundation continues to expand the Basketball For Good family by encouraging innovative efforts to address the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through basketball.
Applicants must identify one of the five project categories under which they apply for the FIBA Foundation’s support:
Basketball For Health & Wellbeing
Basketball For Gender Equality
Basketball For Refugees and Displaced People
Basketball For People with Disabilities
Basketball For Climate Action
Supported projects will receive financial, equipment, and/or mentoring support and join the wider Basketball For Good community, which offers additional opportunities for exchange, mentoring, and support.
Application Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
Meet all criteria outlined in the official application guidelines.
Provide a letter of support from their respective National Federation.
