    Mitsubishi Electric will join the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series in 2026 under a four-year agreement, a significant move that will further strengthen the world’s top competition for professional women's 3x3 basketball.

    The addition of Mitsubishi Electric as a new commercial team marks another major milestone in the rapid growth of the world's premier professional 3x3 basketball circuit for women. Next season, Mitsubishi Electric will compete alongside other prominent commercial teams, including Ulaanbaatar Amazons and Rapid Bucharest, in the world's most popular urban team sport. Kei Uruma, President and CEO, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation¸ said, “We are very proud to be the first Japanese company to participate in the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series as a commercial team.     The 2026 season matches will continue to feature international media coverage, with live streaming on FIBA 3x3’s official channels and via the All Women’s Sports Network (AWSN)—the first global network dedicated exclusively to women’s sports. The AWSN partnership ensures the action will be broadcast live and on demand across a wide territory, including the USA, Mexico, India, Philippines, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Sub-Saharan Africa. The AWSN channel will also be available through its carrier partners in the USA, India, UAE, and the Philippines.

    Established in 2019, the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series is the preeminent global competition for professional female 3x3 players. The series boasts a history of intense, high-level competition, with previous champions including France (2019 and 2024), Germany (2021), and Canada (2022 and 2023), clearly showcasing its truly global and competitive nature.
