BERLIN (Germany) - The brightest stars in women's global hoops are ready to showcase their skills at the upcoming FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 on first-class Junckers hardwood sports floors.
Taking place in Berlin, Germany, between September 4 and 13, the games at the flagship women's event will be played at both the Berlin Arena and Max-Schmeling-Halle.
The two tournament venues have had high-performing basketball floors installed by Junckers, who have also provided the painted sponsor and tournament branding to complete a stunning customization.
A PROVEN STAGE FOR BASKETBALL'S BIGGEST MOMENTS
This continues the impressive run of Junckers courts providing the perfect stage for many of the biggest moments in the sport. The Junckers Pro Complete 44 portable floor system has already been used for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, and last year's FIBA EuroBasket 2025.
As well as the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026, Junckers courts will also be installed at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 in Qatar and at the LA 2028 Olympic Games.

16 TONNES OF HARDWOOD GAME-READY IN UNDER SIX HOURS
Built to move, the entire Junckers court is fully portable. Despite weighing approximately 16 tonnes, it is dismantled, transported and installed again at the new venue. A full court consists of 867 portable panels, and an installation team of just six people can have the court game-ready in under six hours.
The court also arrives fully finished, with no sanding or surface treatment required after installation. Over its lifetime, a Junckers floor can be sanded 8–10 times, extending its usability for decades.
BRINGING THE TOURNAMENT IDENTITY TO THE FLOOR
Every graphic is printed directly onto the wood by Junckers before being protected with two coats of Junckers HP Sport lacquer. Furthermore, there are virtually no limits to the court's visual design. Logos, colors and custom graphics can all be integrated directly into the playing surface.
Once the biggest stars on the planet have finished battling for the stunning FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 trophy and the curtain has fallen on the showpiece tournament, dismantling of the court will take less than four hours.
