Field Complete for FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup 2025

    COPENHAGEN (Denmark) - The stage is set for this year’s edition of the Europe Cup on September 5 - 7, with the weekend’s Qualifiers cementing the final 14 sides to round out the 24-team tournament.

    MEN: Denmark (Hosts), Serbia (2024 winners), Netherlands (ranking), France (ranking), Austria (ranking), Germany (Slovakia Qualifier), Lithuania (Slovakia Qualifier), Italy (Slovakia Qualifier), Switzerland (Romania Qualifier), Latvia (Romania Qualifier), Hungary (Romania Qualifier), Ireland (Kosovo Qualifier)

    WOMEN: Denmark (Hosts), Spain (2024 winners), Netherlands (ranking), France (ranking), Germany (ranking), Great Britain (Slovakia Qualifier), Lithuania (Slovakia Qualifier), Austria (Slovakia Qualifier), Hungary (Romania Qualifier), Poland (Romania Qualifier), Ukraine (Romania Qualifier), Azerbaijan (Kosovo Qualifier)

    14 teams (7 per gender) were decided this weekend between 3 Europe Cup Qualifiers taking place in Romania, Slovakia and Kosovo. 

    Bucharest, Romania saw Tokyo 2021 Olympic Gold Medalists Latvia (men) qualify through alongside Switzerland and Hungary. On the women’s side, Hungary and Poland marked their place in the Europe Cup along with Ukraine who clutched the final spot in a thrilling comeback against Latvia. 

    In Košice, Slovakia, both Lithuania and Germany (men) went unbeaten on their way to Europe Cup spots, joined by Italy who earned their spot with an OT win over Montenegro. On the women’s side, Great Britain and Austria went 4-0 as well to seal their spots. The Lithuanian women booked their place with a 19 - 17 victory over Czechia at the end. 

    In Pristina, Kosovo, Azerbaijan (women) clutched the final women’s spot on the line, last defeating Cyprus in the deciding game to finish their unbeaten run with the elusive ticket. Ireland (men) also booked their spot in the tournament in a thriller against Cyprus, sealing the final set of teams we will see in action at the Europe Cup.

    The Europe Cup goes down in the capital of Denmark on September 5 - 7. It will be must-see 3x3 action featuring the best talent Europe has to offer.
