FIBA Youth EuroBaskets and European Championships for Small Countries 2026 draws to be streamed live

    There are 246 teams taking part in the 2026 summer events

    The participating teams will learn their fate for this summer's tournaments.

    MUNICH (Germany) - The draws for the FIBA Youth EuroBasket 2026 tournaments and FIBA European Championship for Small Countries is scheduled to take place on Thursday, February 5, 2026 in Freising, Germany.

    The ceremony will be streamed live on the FIBA Media YouTube channel, and is set to commence at 11:00 CET.

    Spain’s Leonor Rodriguez - a FIBA Women’s EuroBasket winner in 2023 - and former Belgian international Sam Van Rossom will help out with the draw proceedings as the special guests.

    Additionally, the hosts have been approved by the FIBA Europe Executive Committee for the following tournaments:

    FIBA U16 EuroBasket 2026 - Oradea, Romania FIBA U16 EuroBasket 2027 - Oradea, Romania FIBA U16 EuroBasket 2026, Division B - Skopje, North Macedonia FIBA U20 Women's EuroBasket 2026, Division B - Alytus & Klaipeda, Lithuania FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket 2026, Division B - Tulcea, Romania

    There are a total of 246 teams registered across the summer's tournaments with 130 men's teams and 116 women's teams taking part in the youth events.
