Building on the success of FIBA Open 2025, the upcoming edition promises even more action.

Last year, over 1100 players, split into 18 different categories, came together to celebrate the game in a safe and inclusive environment.

That edition would not have been possible without the tremendous contribution of the 127 volunteers and 52 referees who played a major role in the successful delivery of the FIBA Open.

Since 2024, the FIBA Open has served as a fundraising event for Basketball For Good projects. Last year, Mudando O Placar, a Brazilian project active in the biggest favela of Rio de Janeiro, was the recipient of the FIBA Open donation.

Thanks to this contribution, they acquired additional equipment, allowing them to expand their initiative and impact more young lives.

    Celebration of the game

The largest 3x3 basketball tournament in Switzerland is set to return to the Patrick Baumann House of Basketball on 20-21 June 2026.

Fueled by last year's success, the event is aiming to welcome as many people as in 2025. From competitive games to fun-filled activities for families and friends, FIBA Open 2026 continues the mission of making basketball accessible, inclusive, and unforgettable for everyone.

Come and join us at the FIBA Headquarters, whether it is to compete on the court, learn about basketball history, volunteer, or just enjoy the festivities!
