    FIBA is thrilled to announce the historic launch of its newest competition

    BANGKOK (Thailand) - FIBA is thrilled to announce the historic launch of its newest competition, the FIBA 3x3 Champions Cup, debuting in Bangkok, Thailand, on March 14-16, 2025, at CentralWorld Square.

    According to the decision of the FIBA Central Board, the Champions Cup will be held annually and will feature the world's top 3x3 basketball teams, including continental cup winners, the highest-ranked teams in the FIBA 3x3 basketball rankings, Olympic gold medalists and the host nation. The Champions Cup presents a new opportunity to grow the game of 3x3 basketball globally, offering fans an electrifying format and athletes a new stage to shine.

    Thailand will host the first five editions of the competition, providing an opportunity to inspire a new generation of 3x3 fans throughout the country. Sponsor, a popular local energy drink, and Red Bull will be title sponsors of the Thailand events, which will be officially known as the FIBA 3x3 Sponsor | Red Bull Champions Cup 2025.
