    MIES (Switzerland) - After six weeks of intense global competition in which more than 60 teams and 430 players have shown their skills, just eight qualified teams are still standing and now ready to contest the showpiece eFIBA Season 3 World Finals.

    Here's everything you need to know about what is shaping up to be another exciting season finale.

    When and where will the eFIBA Finals take place?

    The event will take place at the SMX Convention Centre in the city of Clark in the Philippines and will be organised by the Philippine Basketball Federation.

    The tournament will be played on Wednesday, December 11 and Thursday, December 12.

    What is at stake?

    The ultimate glory of being crowned eFIBA Season 3 World champions is an incredible attraction in itself, but there is also a prize pool of $50,000.

    A total of $40,000 will go to the top four teams, with another $5,000 reserved for individual awards. The prize distribution will be as follows:

    - World Champion: $20,000 - Runner-Up: $10,000 - 3rd Place: $6,000 - 4th Place: $4,000 - MVP: $2,500 - Defensive Player of the Year: $2,500 - Each All-Star Five member: $1,000

    What is the eFIBA Finals format?

    Day 1 – Group Stage December 11

    Teams will be divided into two groups (A and B) for the Round Robin stage, where each team will compete against all others in its group.

    Group A: Algeria, Portugal, Saudi Arabia and USA Group B: Brazil, New Zealand, Philippines and Türkiye

    Fixtures will follow a Best-of-2 format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Semi-Finals, while the remaining teams will play for 5th to 8th places.

    Day 2 – Final Stages December 12

    Finals and Semi-Finals will be played in a Best-of-3 format. Classification Games for 5th to 8th places will also be played.
