eFIBA World Finals 2026 set for July

    The 2026 eFIBA World Finals are set to further accelerate the competition's ongoing evolution.

    MIES (Switzerland) - The eFIBA World Finals Season 4 will take place in Doha, Qatar, on July 3 and 4, bringing together national e-basketball teams to compete for the global title.  

    Following this year's qualifying rounds held across the regions, which featured nearly 60 national teams and over 400 players showcasing their skills, there are eight teams who will now compete at the eFIBA Season 4 World Finals.  

    This year's Finals are set to take place at the Mall of Qatar in Doha, offering a modern, well-connected venue, with the two-day competition set to highlight the continued growth of e-basketball on the international stage. The event is also an important milestone on the 'Road to Qatar' for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027, which will take place next year in the capital from August 27 to September 12.  

    A total prize pool of 50,000 US Dollars will be distributed among the top-performing teams and best individual players at the event.  

    The eight teams participating in the eFIBA Season 4 World Finals in Qatar are:  

    So far, Season 4's online Qualifiers has been the most successful in history, attracting record-breaking engagement and so anticipation will be huge ahead of the Finals.  

    During the online Qualifiers, which featured an impressive 58 National Federations from across the globe, total viewership increased by an eye-catching 65 percent compared to Season 3 at the same stage. Meanwhile, hours watched also experienced an impressive growth of 62 percent in comparison to 2025.
