MIES (Switzerland) - FIBA has granted CazeTV exclusive rights, with CazeTV to show all Brazilian national team games and the best of FIBA competitions for the next four year period.
The new partnership will see fans in Brazil able to access games on a free-to-air basis - something that provides a unrivalled opportunity to strenghten the reach and appeal of the sport in the country.
Throughout the duration of the multi-year deal, CazeTV is primed to become the home of FIBA Basketball - not least because all men and women's national team games will be made available across its various platforms.
The biggest matchups and other key games from major FIBA tournaments will be made available, including both the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 and the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027.
The new collaboration will tip-off this month, with the men's team gearing up to step out in Chile on November 27 for the opening game of the first FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Qualifiers window.
The team will play two games in each of the three windows during November 2025, February 2026 and July 2026, also facing Venezuela and Colombia in pursuit of a place at the flagship FIBA World Cup in Doha, Qatar.
There will also be plenty of attention with the women's team, too, as they participate in the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournaments next March. They will compete in Wuhan, China, as they continue their quest to become one of the 16 teams that will step out in Berlin, Germany, for the main show in September 2026.
In addition to Brazil national team matches, the agreement also covers broadcast rights for games at all other leading FIBA events, including global Continental Cups for both men and women, as well as Olympic Qualifying Tournaments for LA 2028.
The partnership also provides the chance for fans to see emerging talent and the senior stars of the future, since it also covers the FIBA U17 and U19 Basketball World Cups for men and women.
Frank Leenders, Director General of FIBA Media and Marketing Services, stated: "It's exciting to have agreed this strategic partnership with CazeTV as it provides an excellent opportunity to grow basketball even further in Brazil - an important and sizeable market for our sport.
"The free-to-air element is particularly important in terms of being able to extend our reach in the country. We are confident that new generations of fans will enjoy accessing this opportunity and will love following their national teams, as well as all major FIBA competitions during these next four years."
Felipe Aquilino, Head of Media Rights at CazeTV added: "Bringing the main FIBA competitions to our audience for free reinforces CazeTV's mission to broaden and democratize access to major sports events.
"We will have the opportunity to connect young fans to the Brazilian National Team at every level, from youth to professional - while also showcasing the world’s top basketball powers."
This agreement was negotiated by FIBA Media, the strategic partnership between FIBA and DAZN.
