Safeguarding in sport means preventing abusive behavior and responding effectively to concerns about individuals at risk of harm. To achieve this, education and raising awareness are essential.
Through the FIBA Safeguarding Excellence Programs, FIBA is providing stakeholders with the knowledge, tools, and guidance needed to promote safe and supportive environments for all participants.
FIBA is currently developing educational programs for additional stakeholders and encourages everyone to stay connected to learn about new training opportunities as they become available.
