FIBA in Oceania’s Basketball for Good programs have touched the lives of over 800,000 participants in 14 nations since 2014. Gender equality is a cross-cutting theme across all programs which is why females represent 46.8% of all participants.
The Basketball for Good programs are currently active in Fiji, Guam, Kiribati, Northern Mariana Islands, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tahiti, Timor-Leste and Tonga.
Programs include; Bula Hoops, Her World Her Rules, Hoops for Health, Mum's a Hero, Pikinini Hoops and Twilight Basketball.
