    Media Accreditation

    Please, find below the media accreditation guidelines for the FIBA Youth EuroBasket and FIBA European Championships for Small Countries 2026.

    Accreditation for the FIBA U18 EuroBasket 2026 and FIBA U20 EuroBasket 2026 is centralized, and applications must be submitted exclusively via the FIBA Accreditation Portal.

    For all other events, please contact the accreditation coordinators, responsible for Media Accreditation. You can find the names and contact details for every event in this LINK.

    Applying for FIBA U18 EuroBasket and FIBA U20 EuroBasket

    Application deadline: July 1, 2026 before 23:59 CET (GMT+2)

    Follow the steps below to submit your accreditation request via the FIBA Accreditation Portal:

    1. Log in to the FIBA Accreditation Portal.

    2. Click on the [Apply now] button of the event you wish to attend.

    3. Complete all required fields and submit your application.

    4. After submission, you will receive an accreditation confirmation email.

    5. All applications are reviewed by FIBA. You will be notified once a decision has been made.

    ⚠️ Important information

    • Only those who apply online before the deadline will be considered.

    • Creating a profile or logging in is not an application.

    • You must complete and submit an application for the event by following steps 1–4 above.

    • Only bona fide media professionals and established media outlets, producing original news content will be considered for credentials.

    • Please, note that scouts, regardless of affiliation, are not eligible for media credentials.

    • Through your account, you can modify your application form up until the application deadline.

    • All applicants are solely responsible for their travel visa, should one be required.

    • FIBA reserves the right to reverse its decision on any approval, and/or withdraw a credential at any time if it deemed that the concerned party had been in breach of accreditation rules and guidelines.
