DISCIPLINARY SANCTIONS
Sanctions taken by FIBA can be the result of:
Disciplinary proceedings as a result of anti-doping rule violations;
A failure to honour a BAT award; and,
Disciplinary proceedings as a result of other conduct
FIBA only publishes sanctions related to suspensions from participation in Official Games, Ban on international transfers or registration of new players, Ban on international competitions or suspensions from carrying out official functions. No other type of sanctions (e.g. financial penalties, warnings, reprimands, provisional suspensions) are listed.
BASKETBALL ARBITRAL TRIBUNAL
In accordance with Article 3-344 of the FIBA Internal Regulations (version of March 2021), the following clubs, players, agents and coaches have been sanctioned by FIBA for their failure to honour an award of the Basketball Arbitral Tribunal:
